The similar phrase 'Worldly Christianity' is one used by Bonhoeffer. It's J Gresham Machen that I want to line up most closely with. See his Christianity and culture here. Having done commentaries on Proverbs (Heavenly Wisdom) and Song of Songs (Heavenly Love), a matching title for Ecclesiastes would be Heavenly Worldliness. Lord's Day October 27 2024
Sat listening in the morning which ws food, listening to my assistant Eddie on how marriage pictures the gospel. Good congregation. Lots away (in USA, Germany, Italy, Japan, etc). Eight kids in Sunday School (there were none last week). Only seven of us in the evening. I preached from Psalm 119 on ways Scripture is pictured.
