The similar phrase 'Worldly Christianity' is one used by Bonhoeffer. It's J Gresham Machen that I want to line up most closely with. See his Christianity and culture here. Having done commentaries on Proverbs (Heavenly Wisdom) and Song of Songs (Heavenly Love), a matching title for Ecclesiastes would be Heavenly Worldliness. Midweek Meeting October 16 2024
Eddie led the meeting last Wednesday, looking at most of Lamentations 3 but not the most encouraging bit. That will keep for another time. There was also time for prayer at the end. Perhaps we could have come to that earlier.
