The similar phrase 'Worldly Christianity' is one used by Bonhoeffer. It's J Gresham Machen that I want to line up most closely with. See his Christianity and culture here. Having done commentaries on Proverbs (Heavenly Wisdom) and Song of Songs (Heavenly Love), a matching title for Ecclesiastes would be Heavenly Worldliness. Midweek Meeting November 19 2025
We were a large number last night plus three online. This was partly because it was also a members meeting. We began with Psalm 117 then had the meeting and finally had time for a few to pray.
