The similar phrase 'Worldly Christianity' is one used by Bonhoeffer. It's J Gresham Machen that I want to line up most closely with. See his Christianity and culture here. Having done commentaries on Proverbs (Heavenly Wisdom) and Song of Songs (Heavenly Love), a matching title for Ecclesiastes would be Heavenly Worldliness. Just a reminder that this year's Annual Lecture of the Evangelical Library is othis Monday (02 July 2012) at 6:30 pm in the Library when Ian Hamilton of Cambridge Presbyterian church will be speaking on "Old Princeton and its Theology". Be there or be square.
