The similar phrase 'Worldly Christianity' is one used by Bonhoeffer. It's J Gresham Machen that I want to line up most closely with. See his Christianity and culture here. Having done commentaries on Proverbs (Heavenly Wisdom) and Song of Songs (Heavenly Love), a matching title for Ecclesiastes would be Heavenly Worldliness. Spending the week listening to Nick Needham has reminded me that in 2022 and 2023 Nick did a series of articles in the Banner of Truth Magazine on Shapers of Christianity. I think there were 12 all told. Here are ten
