The similar phrase 'Worldly Christianity' is one used by Bonhoeffer. It's J Gresham Machen that I want to line up most closely with. See his Christianity and culture here. Having done commentaries on Proverbs (Heavenly Wisdom) and Song of Songs (Heavenly Love), a matching title for Ecclesiastes would be Heavenly Worldliness. Midweek Meeting May 28 2025
I was quite ill Wednesday but managed t muster the strength to lead the midweek meeting. Four others were there and we looked at Psalm 64, another psalm I've never covered before. We also had a good time of prayer and then lifted the lid from the baptistery ready for Sunday. (Actually two strong Iranian chaps did most of it).
