The similar phrase 'Worldly Christianity' is one used by Bonhoeffer. It's J Gresham Machen that I want to line up most closely with. See his Christianity and culture here. Having done commentaries on Proverbs (Heavenly Wisdom) and Song of Songs (Heavenly Love), a matching title for Ecclesiastes would be Heavenly Worldliness. For my stance on worldliness, see 3 posts here.

Julie Fowlis at Cadogan Hall

Great concert tonight down at a packed Cadogan Hall, hearing Julie Fowlis. Just Éamon Doorley on Bouzouki, Tony Byrne on guitar and Duncan Chisholm on fiddle these days. Lots of mouth music, piping, vocals and instrumentals, a bit of Runrig and The Beatles and ending with some bagpipe work. Great stuff. Very entertaining and skillful.
