The similar phrase 'Worldly Christianity' is one used by Bonhoeffer. It's J Gresham Machen that I want to line up most closely with. See his Christianity and culture here. Having done commentaries on Proverbs (Heavenly Wisdom) and Song of Songs (Heavenly Love), a matching title for Ecclesiastes would be Heavenly Worldliness. For my stance on worldliness, see 3 posts here.

Gary, great talk and idea. If you don't mind I'll be using it as my way in for a Saturday afternoon evangelistic talk next weekend. Thanks.

It's there by way of example - free to be used, reposted, whatever.

It was great to listen to your talk on vuvuzela. It is so encouraging that there are people who are so immersed in God's Word that everything around may be found inspiring to thinking of eternity. I adored your lectures at EMF course 2008/09

used this talk on Sunday AM. Children and adults alike amazed to think they had been singing out the Vuvuzela Hymn book for years.
Please fell free to publish any more of your good ideas for childrens talks. much appreciated.

Glad you could use it MFH. Such ideas seem to be few and far between with me but if I do come up with anything I'll put it here I'm sure.
