Bonhoeffer uses a similar phrase 'worldly Christianity'. It's J Gresham Machen that I want to line up most closely with. See his Christianity and culture here. Having done commentaries on Proverbs (Heavenly Wisdom) and Song of Songs (Heavenly Love), a matching title for Ecclesiastes would be Heavenly Worldliness. Akkerman op luit


I'm a little slow sometimes but apparently Jan Akkerman is performing in public on his lute these days. He complains that keeping the thing in tune is hard work. It would be great to hear him live on lute. This appears to be Elspeth of Nottingham from the album Focus 3 (Sylvia was also on it).
