The similar phrase 'Worldly Christianity' is one used by Bonhoeffer. It's J Gresham Machen that I want to line up most closely with. See his Christianity and culture here. Having done commentaries on Proverbs (Heavenly Wisdom) and Song of Songs (Heavenly Love), a matching title for Ecclesiastes would be Heavenly Worldliness. For my stance on worldliness, see 3 posts here.

Lord's Day January 23 2022

We carried on with our series on the last Lord's Day. Numbers were a little better but we were quite few in the evening. At 6 pm we had communion, a little later than usual this month. The morning sermon was a strange one in that it spent the first half explaining Herod Antipas's background and was then very evangelistic. People seemed happy, however. In the morning we welcomed in three new deacons. We now have five deacons, the most we have had in my time. It probably won't last, however.
