The similar phrase 'Worldly Christianity' is one used by Bonhoeffer. It's J Gresham Machen that I want to line up most closely with. See his Christianity and culture here. I walked past this exclusive brethren building in North Finchley the other day. I'd not noticed it before although I have heard it mentioned. I've never seen anything quite like it.
