The similar phrase 'Worldly Christianity' is one used by Bonhoeffer. It's J Gresham Machen that I want to line up most closely with. See his Christianity and culture here. Having done commentaries on Proverbs (Heavenly Wisdom) and Song of Songs (Heavenly Love), a matching title for Ecclesiastes would be Heavenly Worldliness. For my stance on worldliness, see 3 posts here.

This list is great. A rare piece of scholarship. The Gospel of Mark has a disputed ending, 16:9-20. It is not found in all the ancient manuscripts. Some scholars believe that Mark didn't write it and claim it has a word that is not used elsewhere in Mark, in order to discredit the text. They say this instance shows it is not consistent with Marks writing style. Yet this research here provides that Mark used 67 such words in this entire work. This fact discredits the skeptics argument against the authenticity of this passage. Thanks for the research you have provided. Pr. Blaine MacNeil
