The similar phrase 'Worldly Christianity' is one used by Bonhoeffer. It's J Gresham Machen that I want to line up most closely with. See his Christianity and culture here. Having done commentaries on Proverbs (Heavenly Wisdom) and Song of Songs (Heavenly Love), a matching title for Ecclesiastes would be Heavenly Worldliness. Lord's Day June 29 2025
Rather a disappointing fifth Sunday I thought with lots absent for various reasons. I preached on children and parents from Ephesians and on Amaziah in the evening. One encouragement was the reappearance of an Iranian lady adn her daughter we've not seen for a while. Rather than being discouraged, I need to recommit myself to prayer and holy living.
