The similar phrase 'Worldly Christianity' is one used by Bonhoeffer. It's J Gresham Machen that I want to line up most closely with. See his Christianity and culture here. Having done commentaries on Proverbs (Heavenly Wisdom) and Song of Songs (Heavenly Love), a matching title for Ecclesiastes would be Heavenly Worldliness. London Seminary end of year 2025
It was good to be at the end of year service once again - packed out this year. Great to hear principal Bill James's report, the student testimonies, the preaching of Jonny Prime. Gwynne Evans chaired. Good to be on the lawn after for tea afterwards in the sun.
