Last Lord's Day was officially my last in Childs Hill but Eleri tells me not to say that as I''ll confuse you all. I'm the visiting preacher this coming Sunday and beyond as August Sundays are notoriously difficult to fill. Anyway last Sunday I preached on my favourite New Testament text, 1 Thessalonians 4:11, 12 and on the text behind me when I stand up on Sundays )Luke 11:27, 28) and that was a good decision. Numbers were not great but it was good to preach once more.
