The similar phrase 'Worldly Christianity' is one used by Bonhoeffer. It's J Gresham Machen that I want to line up most closely with. See his Christianity and culture here. Having done commentaries on Proverbs (Heavenly Wisdom) and Song of Songs (Heavenly Love), a matching title for Ecclesiastes would be Heavenly Worldliness. Midweek Meeting August 2 2023
On Wednesday night we met on zoom once again. Numbers were down as one mght expect at this time of the year but lots prayed once we got going. We looked at Psalm 11, whuch I caan't say I have ever really noticed before.
