The similar phrase 'Worldly Christianity' is one used by Bonhoeffer. It's J Gresham Machen that I want to line up most closely with. See his Christianity and culture here. Having done commentaries on Proverbs (Heavenly Wisdom) and Song of Songs (Heavenly Love), a matching title for Ecclesiastes would be Heavenly Worldliness. Lord's Day September 13 2026


This last Lord's Day I was again in Kogarah Bay Bible Church and St John's Park Baptist. I preached on the crown of thorns in the morning at KBBC and on Proverbs 24:15, 16 on th evening at SJPBC.
