Bonhoeffer uses a similar phrase 'worldly Christianity'. It's J Gresham Machen that I want to line up most closely with. See his Christianity and culture here. I've tried to no avail to come up with some clever pun using Rosencrantz and Guildenstern, but to no avail - my brain is totally stoppered.

Analysing your last comment, I can't help feeling that something is written in den mark though.
