The similar phrase 'Worldly Christianity' is one used by Bonhoeffer. It's J Gresham Machen that I want to line up most closely with. See his Christianity and culture here. Having done commentaries on Proverbs (Heavenly Wisdom) and Song of Songs (Heavenly Love), a matching title for Ecclesiastes would be Heavenly Worldliness. Lord's Day August 17 2025
I preached two one offs on the last Lord's Day - on Mark 12:24 and a phrase from Acts 15:9. Great texts. We were well attended in the morning (over 40) and not so bad in the evening (14) but there were only five of us for communion before the evening service. A new Iranian family in the morning and other visitors.
