The similar phrase 'Worldly Christianity' is one used by Bonhoeffer. It's J Gresham Machen that I want to line up most closely with. See his Christianity and culture here. Having done commentaries on Proverbs (Heavenly Wisdom) and Song of Songs (Heavenly Love), a matching title for Ecclesiastes would be Heavenly Worldliness. For my stance on worldliness, see 3 posts here.

The future's orange

It's nice to see the newly refurbished LTS. The orange corridor floor is a bit of a surprise but then the place does belong to a strongly Protestant group.

Wow. That's very orange. I'll be preaching a Kensit on Sunday so I'm looking forward to seeing what they've done to the place. Is the portrait of Cromwell warts and all still hanging in the corridor?

At present the walls are bare. Not sure what the plans are.
