The similar phrase 'Worldly Christianity' is one used by Bonhoeffer. It's J Gresham Machen that I want to line up most closely with. See his Christianity and culture here. Having done commentaries on Proverbs (Heavenly Wisdom) and Song of Songs (Heavenly Love), a matching title for Ecclesiastes would be Heavenly Worldliness. Midweek Meeting September 27 2023
A little bit different last Wednesday. My assistant Eddie led the meeting and led it very well. He has decided to look at the prayers of the Apostle Paul and began with three short ones in Romans 15. He gave ore time for discussion than usual and that was appreciated. Excellent prayer time too.
