The similar phrase 'Worldly Christianity' is one used by Bonhoeffer. It's J Gresham Machen that I want to line up most closely with. See his Christianity and culture here. Having done commentaries on Proverbs (Heavenly Wisdom) and Song of Songs (Heavenly Love), a matching title for Ecclesiastes would be Heavenly Worldliness. For my stance on worldliness, see 3 posts here.

I was preaching here in Guernsey yesterday in the morning and evening. I preached on two more of the seven churches of Asia, having looked at Laodicea on the Friday. We looked at Smyrna in the morning and Pregamum in the evening. The congregation is small and the older side but eager to hear the Word. There was one visitor in the morning but she will be leaving the island soon. It is hard when it is so rare for newcomers to be there. We had a lovely time in the afternoon at the home of a couple in the church. The three srmons can be found on the church website in audio form at the moment (click here).
