The similar phrase 'Worldly Christianity' is one used by Bonhoeffer. It's J Gresham Machen that I want to line up most closely with. See his Christianity and culture here. Having done commentaries on Proverbs (Heavenly Wisdom) and Song of Songs (Heavenly Love), a matching title for Ecclesiastes would be Heavenly Worldliness. Midweek Meeting September 10 2025
Our small meeting on Wednesday (with two online too) was led by my assistant Eddie. He took us to the Song of Solomon and gave us a brief devotional. We then responded to the passage in prayer and then after discussing matters for prayer we again prayed, mainly intercession.
