The similar phrase 'Worldly Christianity' is one used by Bonhoeffer. It's J Gresham Machen that I want to line up most closely with. See his Christianity and culture here. Having done commentaries on Proverbs (Heavenly Wisdom) and Song of Songs (Heavenly Love), a matching title for Ecclesiastes would be Heavenly Worldliness. Midweek Meeting September 17 2025
Five of us in the room and one online last night for midweek meeting. We looked at the closing verses of Romans 9 (30-33) a reminder of salvation by faith not by works. We also prayed. Our dog Alffi joined us and was well behaved.
