The similar phrase 'Worldly Christianity' is one used by Bonhoeffer. It's J Gresham Machen that I want to line up most closely with. See his Christianity and culture here. Having done commentaries on Proverbs (Heavenly Wisdom) and Song of Songs (Heavenly Love), a matching title for Ecclesiastes would be Heavenly Worldliness. Midweek Meeting September 24 2025
Six people, one dog and one online it was this week. As usual, first we sang a hymn then read the Bible and considered, this week, Romans 10:1-13. We then chatted and after that prayed. All over before 9.30 pm (8 pm start).
