The similar phrase 'Worldly Christianity' is one used by Bonhoeffer. It's J Gresham Machen that I want to line up most closely with. See his Christianity and culture here. Having done commentaries on Proverbs (Heavenly Wisdom) and Song of Songs (Heavenly Love), a matching title for Ecclesiastes would be Heavenly Worldliness. Lord's Day August 31 2025
There are things to be learned by sitting in the congregation and I had an opportunity this last Lord's Day. Eddie preached for me - challenging in the morning from Revelation 3 on Laodicea and then encouraging us in the evening from Daniel 2. Typical numbers morning (30-40) and evening (about 17). Good to have my oldest sonand his family wiht us.
