Having a sort out, I found this scrawled on the back of an envelope. It must have been some time in Autumn 2007.
Just needs a good tune.
In the summer when the day
Is longer than the night
I know I'm gonna be alright.
In the winter when the night
Is longer than the day
I know I'm gonna be okay.

Gary, It reads like a sort of bleak Scandinavian post-drinking song - 'long nights/short nights, it's OK'.
I think that this envelope was actually dated 1007, and was found amongst shards of viking pottery in an aborted attempt to march on London. Am I getting close?
Maybe, though, it's a proto high Calvinist hymn of the mid-19th Century. goodle it alongside Gadsby's name and see what comes up!!
You got it - a sort of Gadsbyan Scandinavian drinking song! How's the music coming?
oh, Carpenters-style, I think. Girl's voice, guitar. That or Slipknot. Your call
Yeah, but you'll want crediting and everything when it's clear who the genius is here.
Really can't get a tune for this Gary - short of your repeating a line, of course. I've been toying with a few verbal changes and then it could just work with Black Sabb's 'Paranoid.' Any ideas from you?
