The similar phrase 'Worldly Christianity' is one used by Bonhoeffer. It's J Gresham Machen that I want to line up most closely with. See his Christianity and culture here. Having done commentaries on Proverbs (Heavenly Wisdom) and Song of Songs (Heavenly Love), a matching title for Ecclesiastes would be Heavenly Worldliness. For my stance on worldliness, see 3 posts here.

10 Seventies Acts I was never over-impressed with

1. Elton John
2. David Bowie
3. Pink Floyd
4. Rod Stewart
5. Bruce Springsteen
6. Black Sabbath
7. Bee Gees
8. Kiss
9. Alice Cooper
10. Billy Joel

Sorry Paul. Glad someone agrees. There are tracks I like, of course but not the whole package. My theory is that it is related to my lack of love for the musical genre.
