The similar phrase 'Worldly Christianity' is one used by Bonhoeffer. It's J Gresham Machen that I want to line up most closely with. See his Christianity and culture here. Having done commentaries on Proverbs (Heavenly Wisdom) and Song of Songs (Heavenly Love), a matching title for Ecclesiastes would be Heavenly Worldliness. Lord's Day January 13 2026
Still several away last Lord's Day for various reasons but a good crowd in the morning and nearly double figures in the evening. I looked morning and evening at some Christian paradoxes - the most basic one in the morning (losing and saving your life) and then the fact the Christian is sorrowful but always rejoiing.
