The similar phrase 'Worldly Christianity' is one used by Bonhoeffer. It's J Gresham Machen that I want to line up most closely with. See his Christianity and culture here. Having done commentaries on Proverbs (Heavenly Wisdom) and Song of Songs (Heavenly Love), a matching title for Ecclesiastes would be Heavenly Worldliness. Midweek Meeting January 28 2026
It was very encouraging on Wednesday to have six of us in the kitchen who all prayed plus three on zoom, two of whom prayed. Eddie helpfully led us into prayer with some verses from the end of Joshua 21. Lots to pray about as ever.
