The similar phrase 'Worldly Christianity' is one used by Bonhoeffer. It's J Gresham Machen that I want to line up most closely with. See his Christianity and culture here. Having done commentaries on Proverbs (Heavenly Wisdom) and Song of Songs (Heavenly Love), a matching title for Ecclesiastes would be Heavenly Worldliness. Midweek Meeting January 14 2026

Yesterday's meeting was a little unusual in that we were in the kitchen. The parlour heater is not working. SIx of us huddled together with two on line. Most of us took turns to pray after looking at Romans 12:9-16 and our relations with one another.
