The similar phrase 'Worldly Christianity' is one used by Bonhoeffer. It's J Gresham Machen that I want to line up most closely with. See his Christianity and culture here. Having done commentaries on Proverbs (Heavenly Wisdom) and Song of Songs (Heavenly Love), a matching title for Ecclesiastes would be Heavenly Worldliness. For my stance on worldliness, see 3 posts here.

Just to increase your joy, Gary, the equestrian question came up on QI recently and the gnomes in Stephen Fry's ear said that the horse's legs thing was an urban myth. Alan Davies said, 'Everything I know is wrong!' and we know how he feels except that he gets a job out of it.

It's quite unnerving John. I'm still coping with the fact that Coca Coa didn't give Santa his red coat. I've put my mind to rest by going to Wikipedia, which assures me that Bob Holness' famous saxophone solo is a myth but that actress Hedy Lamarr 'though known primarily for her great beauty, ... also co-invented the first form of spread spectrum, a key to modern wireless communication'. They must be right.
