The similar phrase 'Worldly Christianity' is one used by Bonhoeffer. It's J Gresham Machen that I want to line up most closely with. See his Christianity and culture here. Having done commentaries on Proverbs (Heavenly Wisdom) and Song of Songs (Heavenly Love), a matching title for Ecclesiastes would be Heavenly Worldliness. For my stance on worldliness, see 3 posts here.

Brother Brady—Checking links to my new blog brought me here (thanks for the mention), and that in turn brought me to your commentary on Proverbs, a special love of mine. Do you really call the first n ine chapters "Grammar," and the rest "Vocabulary"? I love that!

I can't find your email address on any of your sites. Won't you drop me a line?

Thanks for that (the tenner's in the post). I actually wanted to set out the proverbs proper like a vocabulary list but the publisher's thought it too difficult. I cna be reached through our church website. Try gary.brady@childshill.com

I wouldn't publish an email address on your web page like that. Spammers run programs to collect all the addresses they can find. You could find yourself receiving a lot of unwanted junk mail.

It's already out there I'm afraid and yes it gets spammed from time to time. It's an alias (or whatever they're called) not my actual email address.
