The similar phrase 'Worldly Christianity' is one used by Bonhoeffer. It's J Gresham Machen that I want to line up most closely with. See his Christianity and culture here. Having done commentaries on Proverbs (Heavenly Wisdom) and Song of Songs (Heavenly Love), a matching title for Ecclesiastes would be Heavenly Worldliness. For my stance on worldliness, see 3 posts here.

Afternoon out to Greenwich

We had a nice day Saturday with one of my sons and his wife down from Cardiff. We took the bus and tube then the DLR to Greenwich. After a little wander round the market (and a churro each) and seeing the Cutty Sark we caught the river boat up to Tate Modern and then walked along the South Bank to Westminster and home again. Very nice time.
