The similar phrase 'Worldly Christianity' is one used by Bonhoeffer. It's J Gresham Machen that I want to line up most closely with. See his Christianity and culture here. Having done commentaries on Proverbs (Heavenly Wisdom) and Song of Songs (Heavenly Love), a matching title for Ecclesiastes would be Heavenly Worldliness. Banner of Truth Conference 2022 Tuesday Evening
We had another two good sessions last night. First, Andy Hambleton of the EPC spoke on Mark 6:31 and the importance of a balance in the ministry so that we take time to rest. It was good to have that note sounded and in a realistic way. Then after supper we went into overdrive as Conrad Mbewe took us through the rest of the first chapter of 1 John.
