The similar phrase 'Worldly Christianity' is one used by Bonhoeffer. It's J Gresham Machen that I want to line up most closely with. See his Christianity and culture here. Having done commentaries on Proverbs (Heavenly Wisdom) and Song of Songs (Heavenly Love), a matching title for Ecclesiastes would be Heavenly Worldliness. Hi Gary i must say you have bought alot of Books and ones of Calvin.So where will you get the time to read all of them and do your John owen studies you are certinley a busy person.So look forward to seeing you at the Calvin Conference on the 14th and 15th September at the John Owen Centre.And Good choice of Books.
