The similar phrase 'Worldly Christianity' is one used by Bonhoeffer. It's J Gresham Machen that I want to line up most closely with. See his Christianity and culture here. Having done commentaries on Proverbs (Heavenly Wisdom) and Song of Songs (Heavenly Love), a matching title for Ecclesiastes would be Heavenly Worldliness. For my stance on worldliness, see 3 posts here.

Lord's Day December 30 2012

The 53rd and last Sunday of 2012 was a final opportunity to gather and worship the Lord together. We were a little down in numbers as some are still away and a few are unwell. I took the opportunity to preach some new year sermons. In the morning we looked at Psalm 91:14, 15. This will be our text for the year ahead, as it were. Full of comfort, it also implies the duty to pray and to love God on our part. In the evening we looked at 1 Chronicles 17:16,17 the text from which John Newton wrote Amazing Grace. What a blessing it has been to regularly gather with God's people over the last year. How we long for God's blessing in the year ahead too.
