The similar phrase 'Worldly Christianity' is one used by Bonhoeffer. It's J Gresham Machen that I want to line up most closely with. See his Christianity and culture here. Having done commentaries on Proverbs (Heavenly Wisdom) and Song of Songs (Heavenly Love), a matching title for Ecclesiastes would be Heavenly Worldliness. For my stance on worldliness, see 3 posts here.

Strange post. What's this bloggy man thing all about?

To adapt a quote from the Irish band Horslips "Down through the ages the quest for the origins of the Bloggy Man has stirred the imagination of poet and pauper alike. Now with the discovery of the internet and the Heavenly Worldliness website we can begin to grasp its potent symbolism and, hopefully, chart its course from ritual to romance, with a bullet." I trust that will add to your confusion.

That David Sky catches on quick doesn't he? He must have been in the learning difficulties class at WEST.

I guess I'm the first ever, David. No?? It's hard to resit. Guy, don't offend David. My hope is that he'll be so impressed with you he'll change his name to Guy Sky. There's name to conjure with.

Guy Sky, Davies Guy, David Sky, what's the difference?

This is not some joke is it? I mean we have no phtoto of Davy Sgy. Darby tells me that other bloggers have tried this

If you look at Exiled Preacher, you'll find David Sky being interviewed by me. The purpose of the interview is to nail the myth of personal identity.

Guy David, Sky Davies - still not entirely convinced are we Darby?
