The similar phrase 'Worldly Christianity' is one used by Bonhoeffer. It's J Gresham Machen that I want to line up most closely with. See his Christianity and culture here. Having done commentaries on Proverbs (Heavenly Wisdom) and Song of Songs (Heavenly Love), a matching title for Ecclesiastes would be Heavenly Worldliness. For my stance on worldliness, see 3 posts here.

I see that 'The Ballad of Richard Nixon' (5 secs.) is available on iTunes for 79p. John Denver really knew how to write them then but you don't really get the point if you don't listen to 'The Ballad of Spiro Agnew' on the same album (Rhymes & Reasons.)

As arcane and indeed esoteric as ever, John. I'm waiting for John Lennon's Nutopian National Anthem (0:2"). Of course, John Cage's 4' 33" is far too long.

OK so that must be Buddy Holly on the right and Eddie Cochrane on the left.
They've changed a bit since I remember them back in the 60s.
