The similar phrase 'Worldly Christianity' is one used by Bonhoeffer. It's J Gresham Machen that I want to line up most closely with. See his Christianity and culture here. Having done commentaries on Proverbs (Heavenly Wisdom) and Song of Songs (Heavenly Love), a matching title for Ecclesiastes would be Heavenly Worldliness. For my stance on worldliness, see 3 posts here.

Brilliant, had me positively stupine with laughter. It ought to be a word but it really must become a blog in its own right.

I like your own portmanteau there, intentional or unintentional.

You don't have to be stupine to come up with portmanteaux but it helps.

Hi Gary,

Trust you'll enjoy Banner if you're going this year. The programme looks excellent, and I'm sure it will be a blessing to all in attendance.

I'll be there Andrew. I'm looking forward to the 'craic' (or is that not something you can say about so esteemed a gathering?) My son tells me the Province was well represented at the Youth Conference.
