The similar phrase 'Worldly Christianity' is one used by Bonhoeffer. It's J Gresham Machen that I want to line up most closely with. See his Christianity and culture here. Having done commentaries on Proverbs (Heavenly Wisdom) and Song of Songs (Heavenly Love), a matching title for Ecclesiastes would be Heavenly Worldliness. Last Weekend 02

After the Evangelical Library it was on to Covent Garden for the afternoon LIP meetings. It was good to see around 40 there.
I was not able to stay for the question adn answer session with John Blanchard but it was good to hear the reports on the Covent Garden adn Soho work from Derek Sewell and Ben Thomas.
I had to dash off then to an LIP trustees meeting over in the Swiss Church.
