The similar phrase 'Worldly Christianity' is one used by Bonhoeffer. It's J Gresham Machen that I want to line up most closely with. See his Christianity and culture here. Having done commentaries on Proverbs (Heavenly Wisdom) and Song of Songs (Heavenly Love), a matching title for Ecclesiastes would be Heavenly Worldliness. Day Off Week 13 2023
Last week's day off was a bit of a damp squib. I needed to wait in for an oven repair - always frustrating when you're not sure when they'll come. I also spent time helping my son to pout up a roller blind in his bedroom. I did read a little but rather frittered the day aay I guess.
