The similar phrase 'Worldly Christianity' is one used by Bonhoeffer. It's J Gresham Machen that I want to line up most closely with. See his Christianity and culture here. Having done commentaries on Proverbs (Heavenly Wisdom) and Song of Songs (Heavenly Love), a matching title for Ecclesiastes would be Heavenly Worldliness. Lord's Day October 3 2021
A new month so we began with communion. We then sang some harvest hymns and I preached from Psalm 104.Visitirs included a lady from Hong Kong and a man in need en route from Aylesbury to Folkestone. In the evening I took a text, Proverbs 28:13. It is a humdinger. We were a small number again in the evening but we had one visitor.
