The similar phrase 'Worldly Christianity' is one used by Bonhoeffer. It's J Gresham Machen that I want to line up most closely with. See his Christianity and culture here. Having done commentaries on Proverbs (Heavenly Wisdom) and Song of Songs (Heavenly Love), a matching title for Ecclesiastes would be Heavenly Worldliness. Midweek Meeting December 22 2021


We were on zoom again on Wednesday and quite a small number. It was good to go on with John 1, however (1:11-13) and to pray - lots to pray about at the moment.
